Today, I joined Congressman Richard Neal and bipartisan members of Congress from Texas to discuss solutions to replace the unfair Windfall Elimination Provision with a fair, proportional formula that treats our teachers, firefighters and police officers equally and bases their Social Security benefits on their work life and career.
Thank you to the TRTA (Texas Retired Teachers Association) and the ATPE - Association of Texas Professional Educators for their support on this very important issue over the years.

Main Street businesses continue to struggle with higher prices and there's no end in sight. Thanks to President Biden’s bungling of the economy, they will either cut jobs or pass costs on to consumers who are struggling to pay their bills in this cruel economy.

I remember fondly Her Majesty’s speech to the Texas Legislature in May 1991.
It was a moving and historic moment for a young state House Rep. like me.
Our prayers are with the Royal Family and her grieving nation.

God took a special angel home today.
Jackie was the "happy Hoosier" who would light up a room with her joy, passion, brilliance & love of life.
There is nothing Jackie Walorski couldn't do.
We are all shocked and heartbroken - yet grateful to count her as a friend.
