A little mid-week getaway with a calm morning was much needed this week. I have not been taking time for calm mornings…or calm anything’s lately. Work has been wild, life has felt wild and when I am not balanced I am total b* #%h. Hence why I have been majorly absent on here and any other platforms. Sitting and having coffee while looking at the frozen lake was what I needed…quiet. Sometimes we just need quiet.

I had a mid-week get away last week to get tattooed by in Duluth, MN. I didn’t realize how stressed I have been and the mid-week get away was exactly what I needed. I enjoyed a couple of slow mornings, room service, and beautiful views over Lake Superior. Not to mention I left with my tattooed outlined. This tattoo I have been wanting for over 10 years and I have saved this space on my leg for it. I am so happy to be finally getting it done by such an amazing, empowered female artist in our industry! I have 2 more sessions to go, which means 2 more mid-week get-aways. I am not complaining 😊

Birthday pajama brunch for yesterday!!

We had so much fun last night enjoying the Christmas lights! Nothing better than enjoying it in warm weather instead of Minnesota weather!
