“osi lonton ke ou renmen, nou memn tou nou toujou gen yon espwa” as long as you love, we too still have hope

Because of the strength, resilience, and deep love of the community, embraced by our program partner, Na Rive, students at the Father Jeri School have the opportunity to celebrate this Valentine’s day surrounded by the affection, and care of their peers and teachers.

A Message from our Team 29/12/2022

With only a few days left in the year, our staff and Board of Directors would like to share with you some of the reasons why we are deeply committed to supporting our Haitian partner, Na Rive, as they continue to strive to create an environment that fosters the health, wellbeing, and prosperity of their community.

Each of us have been called to this work for different reasons. And with your support, each of us can have a part in changing the lives of some of the world's most vulnerable children and families. Sophis Dorsainvil Ralph Tedy Erol Kelly Kramer Adam Michael Royston Joy Chesbrough

THANKS FOR BEING A PART OF THE WHAT IF FAMILY! As 2022 comes to an end, we want to take a moment to thank you for your kindness and generosity over the years. Your past contributions have helped us provide food and education to thousands of children across Haiti. To this day, we have served over 6 million hot meals to some of the most vulnerable individuals living throughout the country.

We are writing to you to share with great sadness and with a sense of disbelief the unexpected passing of Lavarice Gaudin, Na Rive’s fearless Program Director, What If Foundation’s trusted partner, and a great friend to so many people all over the world.

Lavarice, affectionately known to many of us as Lava, was a champion for the Haitian people- not only those living at home but also those abroad. He was a persistent advocate for social justice and human rights and a fighter for the change he knew possible in Haiti.

The world has lost an incredible life. We have lost our friend. Lava will be terribly missed.
