Here is a detail of my previous post. This is a close-up image of an artwork called How to Read the New Fashion from 2018. It is a collage printed on linen with machine and digital embroidery. The image shows a detail of the linen surface and how I work creatively with layers of printed material. My source material is fashion imagery and in this I am deconstructing images of women through print, collage, cutting, layering, and adding visual and material embellishments through embroidery and quilting.
