Zach Cooper got in touch recently to tell me about his new project - Repeat Until True.

It was a couple of years down the line since we’d bonded after a really fun podcast episode and as soon as I took a look at the project - a collaborative effort with Odeya Nini and Maria Chávez , it was a no brainer - let’s chat and see what’s going on with this wild idea.

It’s essentially a rules-based improvisation triptych using contrabass (Zach), voice (Odeya) and turntable (Maria).

It’s unique in its simplicity and in its flawless ex*****on.

As I was listening back to our conversation and writing, I was learning.
