I don’t know who needs to read this but you’ve got to have faith in yourself, faith in your dream, faith in your God given ability. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

There’s a reason why that thing you’ve been putting off is still on your mind. Do not let others put you off or worse yet you become your own naysayer. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Having faith requires you taking action. It might seem overwhelming now and you might not know all the steps but that’s OK have faith that you’ll figure it out along the way. 🙂 The fear of failing might be putting you off but not trying at all will feel worse. Take a small step today, tomorrow and the next. Before you know it you’ll be in your stride and then running towards achieving your dream. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Propagating a plant to grow a new one is so fascinating to me. The process is simple: 1. Decide which part of the plant you want to grow 2. Carefully cut below the node with sharp clean scissors or a knife 3. Put the cutting in a clean glass of water 4. Change the water every 3-5 days with fresh room temp water 5. Patience is required but you'll see the roots will grow⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

The same process can be applied to cultivating your mental health: 1. Decide which part of your mental wellbeing you need to focus on ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2. Look at what is no longer serving you then make the decision to remove yourself from it ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
3. A fresh perspective, fresh thinking to enable growth may require you to do something different - from changing your environment, friends, job to working with a coach as you go about these changes⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
4. Make a plan for your future focusing on short-term( 3-6 to 12 months) mid term ( 1-3 years) and long term goals (5 years +)⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
5. Patience is required but you're doing the work creating a new life

No one truly knows what is happening in another person's life. Whether the world just feels really heavy right now or you feel that you shouldn't complain but you are not happy either. I'm sharing this because some days you just need to 'keep on keeping on.' This will look like different things to different people...from finding the motivation to simply get out of bed when you feel the pressures of life weighing you down. Or deciding to set goals or boundaries for yourself. Some days it may simply be to pause and focus on yourself. Your mental wellbeing matters.
