Hmong Health Alliance is another Hmong student organization with the purpose of providing academic support, research opportunities, and community-based outreach opportunities and leadership skills for students as well as promoting health and wellness for the underserved communities.

This is a first of its kind and it is happening at Sacramento State. First, meaning it is fully backed by the University and institutionalized as an official program. We need the support of past and future Alumni and students to ensure the success of this program. The ability to institutionalize and to get a program like this to be recognized as an official program of an University is extremely difficult. With his hard work and commitment to our Hmong community, our very own Sacramento State Alumni, Dr. Danny Vang made it possible.
