Heres a look at a couple Hens and Chicks we have [not for sale] in the greenhouse in the last stage of their monocarpic process (where they flower, seed, and then die).

As they mature, the "hens" produce striking flowering stalks, a bittersweet farewell to life. Yet, in their passing, they leave behind a legacy, as the "chicks" carry on the cycle of life, perpetuating the wonder of these remarkable plants.

Their fleeting beauty reminds us to cherish the transient moments and embrace the inevitable changes that define our existence.
