Band Introduction #4: Rêvasseur

Rêvasseur is a melodic death metal band from Hanoi formed in 2020.
Rêvasseur's music blends melodic elements with thrashing grooves like 90’s Swedish Meldeath (Sacrilege, Without Grief and Ebony Tears).
They have released an EP titled "In Doubtless Memory" (2021) and an LP called "Talisman" (2023).
While Hanoi is not traditionally known as a metal stronghold, Rêvasseur has become a key player in fostering a community around extreme music in Hanoi.
Their live shows are known for their immersive energy and commitment to crafting a full sensory experience. Even in short or small-format sets, Rêvasseur manages to captivate audiences through their raw stage presence, dynamic pacing.
Currently, the band is working on new material and has hinted at exploring darker and more experimental territory in their next release.

Band Introduction #3: DreamSpirit / 梦灵

DreamSpirit is a Chinese folk metal band known for their unique blend of traditional Chinese melodies and instruments with heavy metal.
They are based in Beijing and incorporate elements of Chinese history, philosophy, and culture into their music.
Formed in 2010, DreamSpirit has steadily risen as one of the most influential metal acts in China’s underground scene.
Their music often features traditional Chinese instruments such as the erhu (二胡), p**a (琵琶), and dizi (笛子), which are seamlessly integrated with heavy guitar riffs and powerful vocals.
Lyrically, the band draws heavily from ancient Chinese poetry, folklore, and historical epics — exploring themes such as loyalty, fate, the rise and fall of dynasties, and the individual’s role in the grand scheme of history. This thematic depth has made their work resonate not just with metal fans but also with those interested in Chinese cultural heritage.

Band Introduction #2: Illusion Force

Illusion Force is a international symphonic power metal band formed in 2018 based on Japan.
They are known for their fast-paced, melodic sound, heavily influenced by bands like Rhapsody of Fire and DragonForce.
The band consists of Korean vocalist Jeon Jinn, guitarists Yuya Shiroumaru and Joji Shiroumaru (brothers), American bassist Ollie Bernstein , and drummer Jade.
They have released two albums through King Records and are now signed with Frontiers Records for their third album, "Halfana".
"Halfana" marks a significant evolution in Illusion Force’s sound, blending intricate orchestration with aggressive riffs and cinematic storytelling.
Drawing inspiration from high fantasy and sci-fi themes, the album narrates a conceptual saga that Legend of the Metal Saviors protects our planet.

Blending elements of progressive metal, power metal, and modern heavy music, Noturnall has carved out a distinctive sound that combines technical precision with raw intensity.
