Michael B. Jordan reportedly says Japan is his reset button when Hollywood gets too loud.

And honestly, that makes perfect sense.

For years, he has been open about his love of anime, Japanese culture, and the kind of creativity that comes out of Japan.

He has spoken about how anime influenced his work, including the fight scenes in Creed III, where he brought some of that dramatic, emotional anime energy into the ring.

But this story is not really about anime.

It is about peace.

Even someone as successful as Michael B. Jordan needs somewhere to disappear for a while.

Somewhere he does not have to be “on.”

Somewhere the noise slows down.

Somewhere he can just breathe, walk around, eat good food, take in the city, and feel like a person again.

For him, that place is reportedly Japan.

A reminder that no matter how successful someone becomes, everyone still needs a place that brings them back to themselves.
