After moving to Puerto Rico to be closer to family, Job Corps Electrical Pre-apprenticeship graduate Jaimy came to Job Corps looking for a real career, not just another job.

Jaimy built meaningful connections with instructors who took the time to teach through practical, one-on-one support.

Connection and mentorship are at the heart of National Apprenticeship Week. Our pre-apprentice students learn from experienced instructors—and many of them started as apprentices, too!
