Your first microshading session is the foundation. The touch-up is what perfects it.
Here’s why it matters: everyone’s skin retains pigment differently. Some areas heal darker, some heal lighter, and certain strokes may not hold as well as others.
The touch-up is what allows us to refine the healed results and achieve the most balanced, polished outcome possible.
That’s why we always recommend a touch-up at the 8-week mark for every first-timer. It’s not an extra step. It’s part of the process.
