I haven't been sharing my life lately because I fear being judged harshly. I'm not so afraid of judgement from strangers (we're all judgemental in the face of our own desires and insecurities). It's judgement from the people you love the most that cuts the deepest. Leaves you bleeding confidence and hope. Remaining yourself even after "well-intentioned" cruelty requires a whole lot of armor. I'm a work in progress, trying to shed the weight of what everyone else thinks I should be.
