Working with families is so special, but my heart always calls out to highlight the love my couples have for each other.

Romance and passion don't die once the marriage license is signed. Over time that love deepens and gets richer.

As someone who has been married for 24 (almost 25) years, I understand that knowlege of loving someone so much more than you did the day you marry them.

Giving a special space for that kind of love at each session with a couple, makes this hopeless romantic a swelling hear.

Two locations and looks to choose from.

Big, towering rows of yellows and orange sunflowers at Big Jim's Farm. Big blue skies or golden glow sunset.

Wild fields of cone sunflowers and white yarrow surrounded by mountains and pine trees. Located on the back side of the Sandias.

Both locations are at their peak in August. The flowers only last a few weeks so don't put off booking a session now.

Two locations boast of this yellow explosion of happiness here in the Albuquerque area. Big Jim’s Farm and the back side of the Sandia Foothills.

Big Jim’s farm in Los Ranchos plants a large sunflower field every year inviting locals to take pictures among the rows and rows of towering plants. Giant heads of orange and yellow dipping in the breezes and follow the sun as it starts the mornings over the eastern mountains and sets in the western sky.

As well as pictures, the farm provides sheers and a mason jar of water for you to pick your favorite happy sunflowers to take home. This location is best to shoot late in the evening as the sun sets if you want a glowy look. If you like bright colors, morning or late afternoon would be perfect.
