Please pray for the full health recovery of Admiral Dr Barry Black, a Seventh-day Adventist pastor who is the chaplain of the United States Senate.

I was looking at news releases in Associated Press and saw that Pastor Black had been admitted to a hospital because of a medical situation. Through some arrangements I was able to send a message through General Andrew R Harewood, a Seventh-day Adventist pastor and recently retired US Deputy Chief of Chaplains for the Army Reserve. Also, phone contact was provided to me for Chaplain Black so I was able to leave a voice message for him, indicating that I had prayed for him.

I was so pleasantly surprised to receive a phone call from Chaplain Black himself on Friday evening from the hospital as he shared how God had miraculously intervened in his life to spare him from a potentially much more difficult health situation.

His physician, Dr Brian Monahan, who is the attending physician of the United States Congress, had a distinct impression to call Chaplain Black to tell him to call an emergency number and get to the hospital where Dr Monahan would meet him. Upon arrival, complete arrangements were made to care for Chaplain Black and he is now on the road to recovery. Praise be to God!

Pray for the full recovery of Chaplain Black. Obviously, God impressed Dr Monahan to make that phone call to Chaplain Black to save him from a much worse scenario. Praise be to God for His saving power and protection and for using Dr Monahan. It appears that Chaplain Black may be able to join his family for the Christmas season in a few days.

Again, pray for the complete recovery of Chaplain Black as he helps bring hope and spiritual healing to many leaders. What a privilege for each of us, along with Chaplain Black, to be part of God’s final call for all people to look to Christ for His salvation, His righteousness, His life-saving power, His three angels’ messages of Revelation 14:6-12, and His soon second coming
Pastor T Wilson.
