EPD responded to a slightly unusual call on July 3: a chicken found inside a taped‑up box on the side of the road. Thanks to two kind community members who found the bird, let it stretch it's wings and alerted EPD.
The chicken seemed a bit wiped out, but otherwise healthy. The chicken was transported to Greenhill Humane Society where it can rest, recover, and hopefully enjoy an EGG-cellent stay.
