Chess Music

Poor in pocket but plentiful in peace.

This country and city has provided me with various amazing opportunities; it has given me money with which to survive & fund musical ventures and it has introduced me to some beautiful people.

But I have hated being here since I arrived, and I can't wait to be done with this place. It has never been "home" for me.

I am very grateful for what it has offered during my purgatorial layover, and my time while here has inspired several songs which will feature on my album.

I chose this song - "Never Let You Go" by - to accompany this post because in a way it feels like a song of longing for my home in the UK. It's been seven years since I left, I will never let it go, and it is always in my heart.

My truest home is with my chosen family, but the spirit of the UK will always call to me.
