Most Wing Chun has something missing. And most people who train it don't even know it yet.

In some it's movement that's too big. In others it's chasing hands instead of controlling position. No forward pressure. No real footwork. Forcing against force. Missing the fundamentals of position and structure that make everything else actually work.

Take any one of these away and the system leaks. Take several away and what you have isn't really Wing Chun anymore. It's the shape of Wing Chun without the substance.

If you've trained and something never added up — this is probably why.

If you're just starting out — now you know what to look for.

If you're in North America and looking for more. I invite you to come touch hands with me. Beginners, experienced practitioners, sifus. All levels. All backgrounds.

I'll make your techniques not work and tell you exactly why — in plain language that makes complete sense. No mystery. No ego. Just honesty.

Most people don't know what they're missing until they feel it.

My school is in Palm Coast, FL www.dragoninst.com . The door is open.

Here's a video that displays the kind of honesty good Wing Chun requires...

Dear Kung Fu,

Many get into martial arts in order to learn to fight. There’s nothing wrong with that. It’s why I got into it. But along the way, I learned much more from you. The true lesson you teach is how to love.

You looked and felt like an outward journey of physical domination but you were really an inward journey of compassion.

Learning how to defend myself was merely the way you taught me to free myself from my fears and doubts.

When this began to happen, more of my authentic kindness and beauty could shine through.

Because of you, I began turning into a true badass.

Not because of my ability to hurt others. But because of my fearlessness to love others despite their fears and doubts.

The best part is that the journey never ends. As long as I keep doing the work, you keep transforming me.

Thank you Kung Fu!
