What an extraordinary year with an extraordinary fellow! We recently celebrated Dr. Catherine Roy as she begins an exciting new chapter at the University of British Columbia this fall.
Catherine has made an incredible impact during her time at the Hadlock Center, leaving behind a lasting legacy through her compassion, dedication, and exceptional care. We are so grateful to have had her as part of our team and know she has a bright future ahead.
Wishing you all the best, Catherine, you will be greatly missed, and we can’t wait to see all that you accomplish! 💜😃

Great discussion this weekend with fellow members of the Sir Charles Bell Society on the challenging topic of managing facial reanimation failures. A special thank you to Eyal Gur and Kalliroi Tzaffeta for organizing this outstanding session, and to Prof. Tarek Amer and Hubert Low for generously sharing their expertise and experience. It’s always a privilege to learn from colleagues dedicated to advancing care for these complex cases.

We had the pleasure of hosting Dr. Natasha Wielogorska from University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust and Dr. Begüm Yılmaz from Kartal Dr. Lütfi Kırdar City Hospital for a two-week observership at the Hadlock Center.
We first met Natasha at a conference in Spain and were delighted to reconnect during her visit. This was also Begüm’s second observership with us—she first visited more than seven years ago!
We are incredibly grateful to the providers who travel from around the world to learn from Dr. Hadlock. It was a wonderful two weeks, and we look forward to seeing both Natasha and Begüm again in the future. ✈️🌎💙

One of my favorite things about medicine is the incredible diversity of people and perspectives it brings together. Feeling lucky to be part of this melting pot.
A beautiful example of how subtle, thoughtful changes can make such a meaningful difference. Natural, refreshed, and never overdone!
