This is my story—and the story of countless others who have walked the halls of the church, sat in the pews, bowed in prayer, and wondered.

For decades, churches have been seen as sanctuaries. But behind the Sunday garments, polished sermons, and quiet buzz of the congregation, there are stories that rarely see the light. Stories of doubt, pressure, expectation, patriarchy, elitism, legalism, hypocrisy, spiritual abuse, exclusivism, sectarianism, and pharisaism. Stories of faith, tradition, and community—sometimes uplifting, sometimes confining.

In this book "We Left Church but Not God" , I pull back the curtain. This is an honest, unfiltered look at what happens inside these walls, told through my life and the experiences of others. It’s about the tension between faith and institution, devotion and dogma, hope and human imperfection.

You’ll meet people whose journeys reveal the beauty, challenges, and contradictions of church life. Faith here is not a performance—it’s messy, complicated, but always present.
