Fresh Start

On Sunday, I had the honour of joining the congregation of St. Peter Anglican Church, Mbutu, for their Father's Day celebration, a special occasion dedicated to recognizing and appreciating the invaluable role fathers play in our families and communities.

In my remarks, I acknowledged the sacrifices, leadership, and unwavering commitment of fathers who work tirelessly to provide direction, stability, and support for their families. I described fathers as the backbone of the family, whose strength, wisdom, and guidance help shape responsible children and stronger communities. I encouraged them to continue inspiring the next generation through exemplary leadership, integrity, and service.

One of the memorable highlights of the celebration was the symbolic cutting of the Father's Day cake alongside the fathers, an occasion marked by joy, fellowship, and gratitude.

I was deeply humbled by the warm reception accorded to me and the heartfelt prayers offered by the fathers, who prayed for God's favour and success upon my aspiration to serve the people of Aboh Mbaise as their representative in the Imo State House of Assembly.

I also used the opportunity to encourage fathers and their family members to take advantage of the ongoing INEC voter registration exercise. I emphasized that the power to effect positive change begins with participation in the democratic process and ultimately at the ballot box.

I reaffirmed my commitment to working closely with religious leaders and faith based institutions to deepen conversations around community development, moral values, and the proper guidance of our young people.

Together, we can build stronger families, stronger communities, and a better future for Aboh Mbaise.

On this special day, I celebrate not only your accomplishments but also the values, strength, and guidance you have generously shared with our family and everyone privileged to know you.

May Almighty God continue to bless you with sound health, abundant grace, renewed strength, and many more years of peace, joy, and fulfillment.
