It's been a while since I've posted about RedHawk Tree Service. When business is good there's less of a need to post, but please consider us for any trimmings, removals, treatments, plantings, or whatever else you may need. We are a complete arboricultural service and Jared isn't you typical tree guy. His knowledge, 27 years experience in the field, accreditations, and absolute love of anything tree related set him apart from the others. We offer fair pricing, too, and keep overhead as low as possible so we don't pass on that expense to the consumer.

Why should you have your trees trimmed professionally? Why is it important to make sure you have a certified arborist care for your trees?
The tree pictured below is clearly overgrown, and too heavy at its tips. This weight can eventually break off large pieces of the tree. It will essentially blow itself apart. Proper pruning can prevent this from happening.

Call 970-209-9061 to get your trees assessed for free. RedHawk Tree Service would love to become your new arborist, and care for your valuable trees.

Stabilizing a tree with ropes prior to cabling. Do you see the split running down the trunk? If you notice this on your trees, you're just a few heavy snowfalls away from your tree falling apart!

Cabling reduces the amount of weight on the branches and leaves, and allows the trunk to start healing internally. Cabling is usually combined with pruning, weight reduction/thinning, and proper shaping. Right now during the winter season is the best time of year to trim your trees while they are dormant. Trimming during dormancy will result in a fuller, more vibrant tree in the Spring season, and a higher yield of fruit 🍎 for fruiting trees!
