Document One doesn't follow a single path. They build momentum from contrast. Matt King and Joe Froud have carved out a sound that moves between rich musicality and full-force drum and bass pressure, pulling from jazz, live instrumentation, and years of studio craft without losing that edge. The result feels deliberate but never predictable, designed for heads down moments and hands up reactions in the same breath.
Since their last run through the US, including a set at Jungle Bells 2024, their catalog has kept evolving. A fresh EP on Born On Road and a string of remixes for names like Sigma, T & Sugah, and Vibe Chemistry show how wide their reach really is, all while staying rooted in the underground.
