Acne Education Project

Summary: The Acne Education Project is a student-led organization led by 3 medical students with a team of undergraduate executives. We deliver evidence-based acne presentations to grade 5 -7 classes across British Columbia to improve health literacy and raise awareness on the mental health ramifications of having acne. We are looking for 3 passionate, hard-working executives to join our team this year. Applications are due Aug 15th, and interviews will be provided on a rolling basis.

The Acne Education Project has been in operation since 2020 and we have delivered virtual workshops to over 1500 students between grades 5-7 across the lower mainland. Our efforts were recently recognized by the Canadian Dermatology Association and we were awarded the national Public Education Award (2022). We are currently hiring a Creative Director, Social Media Director, and Outreach Director. Positions must be filled for a minimum of 1 year.
