Hello everyone,

Regarding some of the AI-related posts we’ve reposted, collaborated on, or shared in our stories, we’ve received quite a lot of DMs and discussions about them.

We truly appreciate all the feedback, no matter what side you’re on.

Personally, we don’t have any issue with AI, because it’s part of technological progress that, whether we like it or not, has already become part of our daily lives.

As you can see, PlanetSteps also uses AI in some ways, for example, to restore old photos and turn them into clearer, higher-quality versions (like in Slide 1 and Slide 2).

That said, we’ll still carefully filter everything before reposting it or accepting collaboration invites, making sure it stays fun, entertaining, creative, and doesn’t misuse the technology in any harmful or misleading way.

We’ve also received many DMs and messages from friends who genuinely enjoyed some of the alternative AI-generated versions of Steps songs, Steps caricatures, and Steps cartoon pictures. As long as creators aren’t spreading hoaxes, misinformation, scams, or anything harmful, you’re more than welcome!

Once again, we want to say that PlanetSteps is a place to have fun, express creativity, and enjoy everything together as a community. But if this kind of content isn’t something you personally enjoy or agree with, we completely respect that too.

So feel free to tag us and invite us to collaborate on your Steps-related creations. As long as it’s positive and doesn’t cross any lines, we’d be more than happy to support and share it.

At least, these are the vibes we’ll continue with until our beloved group finally returns with new songs, albums, and tours next year.
