The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Fisheries, Rural Transformation, Industry and Labour will be hosting a series of Consultations to sensitize farmers on the recovery process in the aftermath of Hurricane Beryl.
At the sessions, the distribution of farm implements to beneficiaries of the UBEC CERC St. Vincent and the Grenadines Food Insecurity Project funded by the World Bank will also take place.

South Central Windward is home to some of the most innovative people. I thank them everyday for welcoming me into their homes, on their farms, in the schools, churches, shops and most of all entrusting me with their representation.
I am indeed passionate in my work as the Minister of Agriculture of the bread basket of the southern Caribbean, but the support of this agriculture based constituency gives me an extra drive to aim for higher heights in production and productivity. That love money cannot buy!
Today's house to house engagement provided yet another opportunity to reaffirm my commitment to the communities of South Central Windward. I will continue to bring real changes and real opportunities. The task is not easy but we will continue to deliver week after week, month after month and year after year.
