This weekend, we had the absolute pleasure of spending time with a wonderful client who is thoughtfully planning for aging in place while also caring for her parents. ADA compliance and accessibility were key priorities in this kitchen transformation, and we were honored to walk her through the concept and design process step by step.

From proper clearances and functional layout adjustments to accessible workspaces and safe lighting design, every detail was carefully considered to ensure beauty, comfort, and long-term usability.

Saturday was spent reviewing plans, refining the layout, and helping her truly visualize what her new kitchen will feel like — not just how it will look. And let us tell you… seeing her excitement as the vision came to life made it a fantastic day for all of us.

✅ Another Emergency Service Call Successfully Resolved!

Our team was called out for an emergency service repair at a client facility many miles away after both A. O. Smith water heaters faulted out and became completely non-functional. Upon assessment, we discovered both water heaters were tied into the same electrical circuit, which created an overload condition and contributed to system failure.

Here’s what we found onsite:
🔧 Right Unit: Severe deterioration—required complete replacement
🔧 Left Unit: Blower motor seized and the prover/pressure switch failed, preventing proper operation

With both units being over 13 years old, sourcing parts and coordinating logistics presented several challenges — but we made it happen.

✅ Repairs & Corrective Actions Completed:
• Installed a new dedicated circuit
• Separated power supplies so each water heater now has its own independent circuit
• Removed and replaced the right-side unit
• Repaired the left-side unit with required components
• Fully tested both systems for proper operation
• Walked the facility with the client to confirm hot water throughout the building

🔥 Bottom line: They’re back up and running, and the emergency is officially resolved.

There’s something special about days like today. 💪⚡️

This project wasn’t just about installing a light — it was about helping a homeowner transform a room into their new dining space, with lighting that completely changes the feel of the home.

Today, Jason and Breanna were onsite working together as a Father & Daughter team, upgrading this room into the client’s new dining room area by completing:

✅ Full jobsite prep and floor protection
✅ Installation of a new electrical power supply / circuit to support the new lighting layout
✅ Removal of existing switches and installation of two new Decora switches (client requested upgrade)
✅ Installation of a new recessed can light
✅ Installation of a new ceiling-rated service box properly anchored to support the chandelier weight
✅ Final installation of a stunning Comfort & Co. chandelier (client provided) ✨

And that chandelier… WOW. It turned out absolutely beautiful.

But what makes today even better is the teamwork behind it.

Watching a father and daughter work side-by-side — teaching, learning, solving problems, and delivering clean craftsmanship — is exactly what being family-owned is all about. We’re not just completing projects… we’re building a legacy and passing down the trade with pride.
