🔮 Collaborative Salem 400th Anniversary Drop: Calling Witchy Artisans & Small Businesses! 🍂

Hi everyone! As many of you know, October 2026 marks Salem’s massive 400th Anniversary. The city is bracing for its busiest, most historic spooky season yet and I will be in attendance!

We are launching a Magical Drop Campaign featuring 35 premium treasure bags hidden across pre-approved Salem businesses and public spots between October 14th and 21st. The drops will be heavily gamified on social media through my 12,000 Tiktok followers, on IG and Facebook with live hints. 3 of the bags will feature a Golden Ticket for one of our $122 Samhain Luxury Boxes!

While preparing to curate these entirely with my own inventory, I had an epiphany. This historic anniversary is the perfect opportunity to share the spotlight and give some massive exposure space to other incredible independent witchy creators!

We are looking for a total of 210 individual items to fill each of the 35 bags with exactly 6 unique items each. You can donate up to 35 small items. Whether you want your items in just a few bags or in all 35 is entirely up to you.

🔮What We Are Looking For:🔮

We want to offer lucky finders usable, high-quality keepsakes—not cheap tchotchkes or paper detritus destined for a landfill. We have crystals completely covered, but we would love to feature items like (but not limited to):

* Miniature labeled anointing or ritual oils.
* Packs of seasonal wax melts or ritual bath salts.
* Single, short, hand-rolled textured beeswax candles packaged with their intentional uses.
* Small kiln-dried glazed ceramic crescent moons, witch hats, stars, or pumpkins.
* Individually packaged seasonal ritual tealights.
* ...or any other unique, authentic witchy creation you specialize in! You are not limited to just these examples.

🚫What We Cannot Accept:🚫

* Standalone business cards, coupon codes, flyers, or IOUs (to prevent litter, all promotional info must be physically attached to your usable item).
* Loose crystal tumbles,generic mineral carvings, or floor sweepings after a hard day.
* That stuff on your desk you've lugged to 6 events, haven't sold, and have been pondering throwing away.
* Anything hazardous.
* Fabric scraps you don't know what to do with.
* Those petrified French fries under the driver's seat of your car.

The Down and Dirty Details:

🍄The Vibe: These aren't cheap plastic baggies we're tossing together. We are using gorgeous 6x10 vintage purple burlap bags with beaded fringe trim and custom etched golden keepsake hangtags. They are highly visible and premium witchy swag. We're striving to create a core memory experience for the finder.
🦺The Safety: We will strictly work with pre-approved local brick-and-mortars for any indoor placements and will coordinate directly with the Salem Police Department so there are no unattended baggage concerns. We want to be respectful of the community and the town.
💸How it Benefits YOU: While there isn't room for standalone loose flyers or business cards, we highly encourage you to sticker or tag your physical product with your handle/website. In exchange, your business will be tagged, cross-promoted, and celebrated across our social channels and Salem travel groups that allow promo throughout the entire month of October.

Deadlines & How to Apply:

⚠️Submissions Cutoff: July 15th. Please submit your interest via DM to the Curiosity Cabinet Apothecary page or email us directly at [email protected]
⚠️Delivery Window: All approved donations must arrive to us by the last day of August so we have plenty of time to assemble the final curation.
(I have an empty checked luggage suitcase set aside entirely for this endeavor and will be personally transporting them from Ohio to MA and hauling them across Salem in batches. Pray for my back. My spine already looks like a knocked over jenga tower.)

✨️To be absolutely clear: This project does not rely solely on donations and will launch regardless, but we want to open the door to collaborate and lift up fellow artisans during the biggest marketing window of the decade.

Sunflowers have always held a special place in my heart. Pretty sure that was the first perfume I ever wore (yup, totally dating myself here, lol).
