As a throwback for today, it has been 14 years since I stepped foot on these beautiful yellow footprints of Parris Island, SC. Barely 18 and just graduated from high school, I hopped on my 1st plane and took off to join the worlds greatest fighting force, the United States Marine Corps. 4th Battalion, Oscar Company, Platoon 4027. Not one ounce of regret, not one wish of changing my decision, not one moment ever taken for granted. I am thankful to have spent 8 years in my beloved Corps. I miss it everyday.
