Finally finished the school bus, which will hang over a “Back To School” display. Had the crew sign the bottom of the bus, so if you look under it you aren’t just looking at a black void. Hope it hangs properly! Paint and Marker on cardboard. Bus driver and kids to be added this week.

Found an old T-shirt, that I had painted, inspired by one of my favorite soulful singers, Terence Trent D’Arby. I was fortunate enough to see his show and meet him, thanks to a friend. He was very kind and even more beautiful in person. I was wearing something that I had painted, and he thought I was talented and asked if I wanted to paint a jacket for him (jacket wasn’t available at that time), and he also asked if I had read the “Desiderata”? I didn’t know what that was, so he wrote it (the title) down, in my journal along with a beautiful autograph, which I transferred onto the shirt, “across my heart”…pretty clever. IFYKYK😏I check in on him occasionally (via social media) and he’s still singing and doing his deep thinking inspirational thing.
