Mayor Joseph M. Petty joined Pathways for Change on Friday, Jan 24, in recognition of Human Trafficking & Sexual Exploitation (HT/SE) Awareness Month and to honor former Pathways volunteer, Chrissi Bates. Mayor Petty reissued a Key to the City to Chrissi Bates (originally presented in Jan, 2022), in their gender-affirming pronouns, with the City’s gratitude for their strong advocacy efforts in addressing Sexual Exploitation of youth/young adults; and also presented a City Proclamation acknowledging HT/SE Awareness Month and the vital work of Pathways for Change. Remember, Pathways is still here, still believing, and still supporting Survivors of any gender identity.
