The Winfield Glimpses

Yesterday in history June 14, 1956 -

Village of Winfield annexes 153 acres in the County Farm/Jewell Road area. 4.5 to 5 acres at the Southwest corner of Jewell and County Farm roads would be set aside for a park. This land is now the Winfield Park District headquarters.
