Monday, I had the unique honor of meeting LCDR Brian Vaunght and Lt. Connor O’Donnell of the legendary Blue Angels at McConnell Air Force Base. It was a remarkable experice to see the F/A-18 Super Hornet up close and in action. This was a precursor to the air show that will be featured at McConnell August 24-25, 2024. Trust me, you won’t want to miss it!
Our Service men and women are what make America great, and I was grateful for the time I got to spend with these courageous, talented airmen of the US Navy.
My deepest heartfelt thanks and gratitude to the voters of District 2 who trusted me with a second term on the Wichita City Council. Indeed, it is my greatest honor to serve you, my friends and neighbors in District 2, and the City of Wichita more broadly.
I offer my warm congratulations to Mayor-elect Lily Wu, Dalton Glasscock, and JV Johnston on their wins. I’m excited to get to work with my new and remaining colleagues on Council to continue to make Wichita the best place to live in America!
