Ben Nelko #2 – 2026 GT Arenacross Season

Man… this one hurts.

With one round to go and sitting 2nd in the championship points hunt, my season came to an end in Springfield, MO due to injury. Not the way I pictured it finishing — but that’s racing.

I’m proud of the fight this year. We battled every weekend, put ourselves in position for a championship, and left it all on the track.

To my family, my team, my sponsors, and every single person who cheered, shared a post, or stood at the fence yelling “ #2!” — thank you. I feel it. I appreciate it. It matters more than you know.

We didn’t get the storybook ending this season…

But this isn’t the end of the story.

Recovery mode now. Heal up. Rebuild. Come back stronger.

#2 isn’t done.

Unbelievable start to the in Claremore, Oklahoma! The pits were buzzing this weekend. RD 1 and 2 were 🔥 🔥🔥

qualified top 5 both nights. Friday, he rode 2nd in his heat and finished 3rd in Main 1 with some serious speed! He then holeshot Main 2 and led the whole event, taking top step of the podium! Saturday was tough, bike looked good with red plates. Heat 1 was a confidence booster, but tire issues in Main 1 and Main 2 led to 2nd and 3rd place finishes, resulting in a 2nd overall finish. Leaving feeling fast and healthy for round 2 and 4!

also dominated qualifying with a solid P1 Friday night. Heat race finished 4th on pace for a top 3 in the mains. Main 1 lead the field to the checkered flag for P1! Main 2 struggled on the start put pulled a 5th place finish to end the night 2nd overall on the podium!
Saturday night was another great night! However his competition took notes overnight. Heat 2 took P2 starting the night off on the right path! Main 1 was a tough one. Battled up to 7th. Main 2 had some great battles working up to 5th for a 6th overall night.
