Well folks, we got a hot box and pilots practicing for this weekend!
Spring Sebring is less than a month away! The 81st Sebring Aerobatic Championship will be held at KSEF on Friday, April 30th and Saturday May 1st. (Sunday rain-day) **NOTE** This is a change ... we have decided to conduct a 2-day contest this time.
The box will be available for practice flights 24-29 April. Registration will begin Thursday, April 29th, at noon. Please pre-register at iac.org beforehand. Entry fees are $150 for Unlimited, Advanced, and Intermediate, and $125 for Sportsman and Primary. Banquet details TBD (working COVID compliance). Expect banquet tickets to be $20-$30.
There will be a mandatory briefing for all competitors and volunteers at 8am on Friday the 30th. Expectation is that all will be fed, preflighted, and fully ready prior to the 8am brief to allow flying to begin immediately after the brief.
Expect a mandatory briefing for all competitors and volunteers at 8am on Saturday, May 1st.
