Tequila Sunrise, the CCHR built 1951 truck, won a Fine 9 and Darryl Starbird’s Personal Pick at Starbird Car Shows. Another CCHR build, a 1962 Impala, won Best Custom. Congratulations to the owners!! Thank you Troy & Angelica for taking the truck to Tulsa and all your hard work this weekend!! And, as always, thank you to our hard working and talented CCHR crew. We couldn’t do this without the whole team. You guys rock!!

Tequlia Sunrise, the CCHR built 1951 Ford truck, is on display at Starbird Car Shows in Tulsa. Since it’s hard to show the bed, here’s a couple pics.

The truck bed is a vertical cut solid slab of spalted silver maple with a custom cut inlaid design by Ten Works Fabrication in Wichita, KS. Our son Drew Carlson, an OG CCHR crew member, is the Director of Operations at Ten Works. Go checkout their page, Drew's doing some cool projects!!
