Each month we want to highlight one of our local artists and share a little bit about them and their work! This month’s artist is Dani Medrano from ! 💕 Tell us a little about yourself ?

I am a self taught stained glass artist from Wichita, KS. I have enjoyed creating pieces for 9 years so far!

🎨 Tell us a little about your art process?What inspires you? What you love about the medium you work in?

I love the challenge of the tedious process and I enjoy making all kinds of fun and unique pieces that you might not traditionally see in stained glass! I would have to say though, that sunflower and Kansas themed items are some of my favorite things to make! I also take pride in custom requested pieces, and making those ideas come to life in glass!
🌿What do you love about GROW?

I love GROW and the calm and welcoming atmosphere you get there. I love having the opportunity to showcase my art there because it opens up the door for me to constantly create new pieces that I may not make everywhere else! Plant and spooky themed pieces have really been fun to make and showcase at grow! Looking forward to more art in my future and having some more favorite pieces to remember!
