Yesterday, I called out another agent in a local group for giving out misleading information .

Today I went back to find the post and to apologize for being a dick in the comments and the post was deleted.

She stated something along the lines of “I don’t get paid based on premium”. She was referring to P&C (home and auto insurance)🚩🚩🚩

Truth is that this is NOT true. Agents are paid a % of the premium and every carrier pays a different % but the statement she was making indicated that agents wanted to write business with the highest amount of premium possible so they can get paid more.

If that is your goal then you are in the wrong industry… ✌️

💥The goal should be to write the policy to the best of your ability with the appropriate carrier so nobody can beat the rates you provide🔥

Transparency is important especially in the insurance industry. Some agents out there making us look bad 🤦🏻‍♂️
