Issa Monday!!

Things to consider in business, with teams and in community organizations! Dealing with the ministry of people can be tough especially if you are a assertive person dealing with passive individuals… I’ve had several meaningful conversations over the last few days and three conclusions I keep coming to are

🪴 You can’t make people grow! You can nurture them, but if they’re fine with where they are it is not your responsibility to continue pushing them until they can discern that there is greater for themselves. Mom use to say “you can bring a horse to the water but you can’t make them drink”

✂️ cut out the non sense! Most creatives, serial entrepreneurs, visionaries and leaders have several projects in the fire at one time but part of the reasons they struggle is because everyone wants to be on the ride for the final result but ghost when it’s time to work. All of sudden you have every excuse of why you can’t. Time to trim the fat! Costing me connections ? Trim. Costing the business money? Trim. Always MIA? Trim. Don’t believe in the mission anymore? Trim. Faithful to being seen but not faithful to the overall organization/ church. Trim. They may have already served there purpose and now it’s time to move forward and if this is not the case I would never suggest allowing someone to NOT be faithful to the ministry/ organization but be apart of its leadership teams.

🚻 impact! How are you impacting the people? How are you showing up in your community? Are you only assisting your circle? Are you consistently canceling? Are you hiding from challenges? Do you do what you say you’re going to do? Do show up fully present ? Are applying what you have to offer to the benefit of your team? Are you staying connected? Impact starts during the planning process not in the final moments. Is your impact a postive charge or negative? One of the most underrated questions is … How can I help? But If you ask make sure you can follow through because someone is counting on your secret sauce to make an impact.

Don’t get me wrong everyone is aloud off days or grace during hard seasons. But is it a dose of understanding you need? Or a spoon full of a good ole reality check?
