Sometimes, you'll be looking at a house that you find out was just on the market a year or two ago. You immediately start to wonder what's wrong with the house for the owner to be selling such a short time later.
I urge you to not jump to that conclusion. Just because someone sells a couple of years after purchasing the home doesn't mean something is wrong with the house.
I help people all the time who buy a house, say it's their forever (or long-term house), and then I get a call from them a couple of years later to sell it.
Not because something is wrong with the house.
But because LIFE HAPPENS!
We never know when we're going to get married, get divorced, have a baby, lose a job, be relocated for a job, get a new job, have family move in with us, have a death in the family ... the list goes on.
So don't pass by a house because it was on the market recently.

🏠"I don't want my credit pulled for a mortgage pre-approval."🏠
This is a common concern we hear from potential buyers. You don't want your credit checked if it may not be the right time for you to buy.
There are options!
If you're curious about what you could qualify for, or you just want to start budgeting for a future home purchase, soft credit pulls are an option!
This lets you research your options earlier in your homebuying journey without affecting your credit.
REMEMBER: When it comes time to really start shopping, a mortgage lender will need to do a hard credit check. But in the meantime, you can get information and make a good plan!

One of my clients just closed on a 4-acre property in Pretty Prairie (Don't know where that is? Take Kellogg west almost to Kingman and then north about five miles).
