🌳 Calling All Arborists & Trainers 🌳
I’m working on putting together a GoFundMe to help certified arborists and tree workers across the country access proper aerial rescue dummies.
Rescue dummies are critical for training, but they’re expensive, hard to get, and often falling apart. Many of us are relying on old, beat-up mannequins that are missing legs, arms, or worse—making it tough to train the way we should.
👉 Step one: I’m collecting photos of the rescue dummies currently in use.
If you’ve got a dummy that’s missing parts, patched together, or just plain worn out, please send me a picture. These images will help show the need and raise awareness for the fundraiser.
👉 Step two: I’ll launch the GoFundMe soon, with the goal of getting more durable dummies into the hands of arborists so more crews can train safely and effectively.
Please share this with your tree groups, send me your dummy photos, and keep an eye out for the fundraiser link. Together, we can make aerial rescue training more accessible.
Stay safe out there

You may not think about pruning your trees in the fall and winter, but now is the ideal time to prune! Certain trees, like the American Elm, should only be pruned between October and March.

Another review from a happy customer!
Check out everything he had to say:
"Roger Spexarth is a Board Certified Master Arborist which we wanted. He responded to our request timely as we were very concerned about the condition of several trees.
He treated 3 trees for Chlorosis, pruned deadwood from an enormous mulberry tree & did root excavation on 9 trees using an AirSpade. They created a mulch ring after pruning circling roots & placed mulch.
Roger & his crew worked so hard & the clean up was exceptional. We were very pleased with the appearance of the trees. We felt the expense of the project was certainly reasonable. Roger was honest about the trees possibly not recovering from chlorosis & will follow up. One tree improved within a few weeks & we are hoping despite the drought & water limitations the 2 other trees will survive."
