Dear Cino-philes,

It is with heavy hearts that we announce that there will be no supported Cino ride this year. We have loved getting to know the wider cycling community around the nation and even the world. The spirit of riding with and supporting each other while celebrating cycling's past glories has been and will continue to be a part of all of us. Unfortunately, the heavy lifting of organizing the ride has outpaced our school's ability to provide support. We thank you for your support in the past and are sorry that not all who wanted to participate got the chance.

Come September 13, there will most likely be riders found somewhere on the road between Kalispell and Hot Springs. There will likely be a refreshing hose found by the usual locals' farm or ranch. There might be a gate open to a hidden waterfall around lunch time. There may even be a car that has taken their street clothes and swimming gear to Hot Springs ahead of them. But any riders will be fully self-supported on the route there and back.

Cino has returned to the roots from whence it came.

By the sweat of your brow you will turn your cranks and eat your baguette, until you have covered the dusty path, because out of it you were taken; for you are Cino, and to Cino you will return.
- Cino 3:19 (roughly translated from the original Latin)

Nice article, Tristan - thanks!!!

Vintage Velo - Flathead Beacon The Cino Heroica bicycle ride is a time capsule with a pulse. For two days, it invokes a bygone era, capturing the golden age of cycling in sepia-toned relief until it’s cellared for another year, only to be uncorked by an unlikely assemblage of heroic riders in a tucked-away corner of Northwest M...

Wool Jerseys are back!!
These are 100% merino wool jerseys of fine quality from Oregon Cyclewear with classic embroidering: Cino is printed on the front, the date on the back, the school logo on the rear pocket.

Green is available in long or short sleeve, red is only available as a long sleeve.

I have a short sleeve Oregon Cyclewear jersey from Cino X in large. I’m 6’2” and ~175 # and it fits true to size like a jersey should: snug but not tight.

In terms of comfort, the material is like a light wool sweater, not like tight-weave athletic gear. The long sleeve version is great for cooler, shoulder-season weather, or, like the short sleeve, is nice even in the summer as it breathes far better than lycra.

Shipping: If you can’t attend and need to have your jersey shipped when they arrive in July, please include your shipping address and add a $10 donation to cover the cost of shipping. Otherwise, jerseys are priced to be picked up at the event.

Click below to purchase. Select "Register." When the registration window pops up, scroll down to see the add-on options for jerseys - you can order them without needing to purchase a ticket.
