Just a thought....feel free to chime in! There are an increasingly amount of RESTAURANTS out there who choose the higher end of food service. One of the reasons I liked Rail Epicurean was because they journeyed the high rode, giving the average person with a few extra bucks to splurge, a taste of the finer foods, but they did it in a way that could please an unrefined palate yet satisfy even the pickiest palate, used to the finer foods offered.
I recently sent my Mom and her boyfriend to Oakleys! My Mom and her boyfriend eat good ol' southern food most of the time but they aren't picky at all, therefore I thought Oakleys could be a romantic experience where they could both leave their comfort zone while not straying too far, thanks to great explanations from the server paired with a chef with decades of experience, pleasing the masses!! Boy was I wrong!! They spent a prerrr penny on offputting food and they didn't understand what it was they were even eating!! Oakleys disappointed! Was I wrong for sending them there!!??
