One of the biggest goals in this renovation was improving the flow of the home without sacrificing seating or warmth.
By shifting the dining area to one side with a built-in banquette, we were able to maximize functionality while preserving the natural traffic pattern through the space which completely changed how the home feels to move through.
Sometimes making a home function better has nothing to do with adding more space.

One of the biggest reasons people get overwhelmed with design decisions is just too many opinions.
You start out trying to figure out one thing and then suddenly everyone has something to say about it.
It’s not even that they’re wrong, it just becomes a lot really fast.
And then you’re not even focused on the original problem anymore, you’re just reacting to everything that’s being thrown at you.
