Authentically Alana

Yesterday was Homeschool Day at the Dallas Zoo. We participated in hands-on activities, learning about proprioception & balance, bird migratory patterns and earth conservation efforts. Our favorite activity was helping to restore the Cedar Creek by collecting trash that can harm the wildlife. We found lots of plastic bags, cans, unidentified metal, broken glass and a bouncy ball.

We plan to continue our restoration efforts in other areas around the city... and hopefully this enthusiasm will carry over to my children's bedroom 🙌🏾 ... they said they now "need" grabbers at home 🤦🏾‍♀️😅
