I special ordered these books from The Novel Neighbor for blind date with a book but the crummy weather led to a change in programming ☃️ The new books include:
-a board book for the baby foodie in your life 🥕
-a poetry collection by our current and the first Native American poet laureate, Joy Harjo 🌅
-2 graphic novel favorites—one from my librarian in training 👧🏼 and one from me 👩‍🏫
-a picture book in Spanish written by the first Latinx Supreme Court justice, Sonia Sotomayor ⚖️
-a picture book about a young boy on the autism spectrum in search of a friend 👯
-And Raina Telgemeier 🦸‍♀️

Happy Inauguration Day 🇺🇸! I’ve been saving this book from David and Susu for today and I just can’t wait for some lucky kiddo to get their hands on it 😄
