Over the weekend, I found myself in Brigantine, New Jersey, where my in-laws have owned a house since the 80s and have been vacationing since the 70s. My kids grew up there in the summers, so we know the area like the back of our hands.

Deciding to spice things up, my husband and I took a spontaneous trip over to AC. I vividly remember visiting Steel Pier as a child and witnessing the infamous Diving Horse (which left me scarred for life).
While we're not exactly the gambling type, we do enjoy hitting up the casinos for a concert or dinner. AC has really stepped up its game in recent years - it's not just for gamblers anymore!

The drive from the Main Line is a breezy hour or so, making it the perfect destination for a quick day trip or overnight stay.
