Have you ever met a dog with crippling ADHD? Let me introduce you to Lilly. This girl is both beautiful and a little chaotic. What more could you want? She loves her people, but she’s a little picky about who her siblings will be. She knows her worth. Despite her high energy and lack of concentration, she knows self care. Her fur is so soft you would think you were petting a cat. Her high energy would be a great match for an active young family who’s ready to take on the challenge of training this girl. At only 11 months old, she’s ready to learn and work off some of this energy! Meet Shelby!

Shelby is a 5 year old pitbull mix. She was surrendered on November 21, 2025. We got to spend some time with her last week.

Our notes on Shelby included “only child energy”. It’s clear she trusts her new friends at the shelter by the way she hid behind them and pierced us with judgey eyes like someone’s toddler at Walmart. After a few minutes she finally came around. If you’re looking for a best friend to go on a walk, then come home and eat snacks, this is your girl! (Okay maybe less snacks, a diet is in this girls future). She prefers no siblings please (Furry or otherwise), she’s the main character around here.
