a joy to speak today. every trip back to Chicago is a walk down memory lane. my teen years were lived in Naperville. Went by Edward’s Hospital where was born and I was code blue. Spent way too many weeks in ICU for asthma issues. visited Madison Junior High where two track records still stand—4x100 relay. we also won the city championship in basketball in 7th and 8th grade back in the short shorts era! visited my father-in-law’s grave which produces all the feels. as led worship today, I couldn’t stop crying tears of gratitude for God’s faithfulness. and of course, Adam sings the song we sang graveside—It Is Well.
