Your long-weekend read: Are Americans "underbabied"? 🍼
This month, Dr. Mehmet Oz introduced a new demographic buzzword into the lexicon. PRB's Kaitlyn Patierno and Alison Gemmill () assess whether his claim has merit.

Declining fertility is one of the most consequential demographic shifts of our time, and it raises real questions about our future.
But PRB's President & CEO Jennifer Sciubba joined BBC's Katty Kay to push the conversation further: How do we redefine success and well-being in a world where populations aren't infinitely growing?
The milestones are real. More opportunities for women in the workforce. Greater autonomy. Genuine progress. But somewhere along the way, we skipped past celebrating those wins and jumped straight to fear.
As our CEO put it: "We need new vocabulary around this."
At PRB, we believe data should open conversations, not close them. Follow along as we work to build that new vocabulary together. (And watch the much-needed discussion, below. 👇)

Two years ago, Jennifer Sciubba stepped into the role of President and CEO at PRB. One year ago, we were impressed. Today, we're inspired.
Year two has shown us a leader who doesn't just navigate uncertainty, she leans into it. Jennifer has grown bolder in her vision and even more committed to the people and mission at the heart of everything we do.
She's also been busy introducing PRB to the world. Through a packed schedule and no shortage of media appearances, Jennifer has brought new and broader audiences into the PRB fold—a hefty charge for a 96-year-old organization—and she's done it with the same warmth and energy she brings to everything she does. (Oh, and she published a new book!)
In a landscape that keeps shifting, she's shown us what steady, principled, and tireless leadership looks like. And PRB is stronger for it.
Congratulations on two years, Jennifer—we can't wait to see what you do next.
